DAVID’S PARROT

David’s friends gave him a very nasty parrot. He tried to change the bird’s bad behavior by treating it kindly, even playing soft music, but it kept cursing and biting. One day, in a fit of anger, he threw the bird in the freezer. At first it squawked and banged on the door. Then after a brief silence, it begged to be freed. Feeling guilty, David opened the freezer. Shivering, the parrot said,”I’m sorry. I promise to behave.”

David was wondering the reason for this sudden transformation when the parrot continued, “I gotta ask you one thing: What did the chicken do?”
